A new dream for the serious cat photographer was released by Canon - the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
The camera has 21.1-Mp 'Full-Frame' (24x36mm) Sensor. It is the first EOS with movie recording ability. The most important thing beside the full-frame is the good noise levels at higher ISO such as ISO 800 and ISO 1600. The bad news is that if you want to enjoy its best quality of the picture, you'll need to use only L prime lenses. But that's not a problem (if you are quality maniac you'll already have at least one).
All that comes on the very sweet price of 2700 USD at BH Photo Video. It will be available in November.
I wish I'll can buy one for Christmas... Wish me luck.

Photographer: Petar Mitchev
These stray kitties wore hiding in a basement. Their mother is somewhere around, probably searching for food. The picture of this cat family was made with Canon 75-300mm - that's why it so blurry. A terrible lens.

I found this picture on the first page of my site for cat pictures. It's a cute himalayan kitten, aproximately 2 month old, as I see (not exactly sure). Just look at his beautiful blue eyes! :)

This guy has only good cat pictures! Here is another one - great timing (if it isn't shot in burst mode I'll say only WOW), good light, nice colors... and let's face it - the cat is very cute too :D

A few days ago I started a new blog for pictures of feral cats. The address is http://the-feral-cats.blogspot.com/. There you will find pictures and information about the feral cats. Feel the pain and the hunger, and enjoy their happy moments of the feral cats.
